March 8 Present from Elena Kopets

5^th year student of the Faculty of Physical Education Elena Kopets took 3^rd place in shot-put during the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Gothenburg (Sweden), having thrown the shot as far as 18 m 85 cm.

Elena had been taking the lead for a long time, but in the end the German sportswoman Christina Schwanitz won the gold medal (result – 19 m 25 cm), while the Russian athlete Yevgeniya Kolodko took the second place (result – 19 m 04 cm).

Personal record of our athlete is 19 m 06 cm. This result and constant training is a serious bid for victory!
