Ambassador of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Belarus at Brest State A.S. Pushkin University

A solemn event to the birthday of Alexander Pushkin was held on June 6, 2021 near the monument to the great Russian poet. It was attended by E.V. Lukyanov (Ambassador of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Belarus), G.I. Borisyuk (Deputy Chairman of the Brest Regional Executive Committee), A.S. Rogachuk (Chairman of the Brest City Executive Committee), I.Y. Konyakin (General Consul of the General Consulate in Brest), A.N. Sender (Rector of Brest State A.S. Pushkin University, Professor), students, pupils of gymnasiums, schools of the city and others.

After the wreath-laying ceremony at the monument to Alexander Pushkin, the guests visited the Russian Center of the University, where at that time the international reading contest "Multilingual Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin" was held in the format of a videoconference. Students read poetry of Pushkin and Evgeny Lukyanov shared his interesting life stories and spoke about the importance of philological education in a person's life. Finishing the meeting, the rector of the university Anna Sender gave E.V. Lukyanov memorable gifts.

The dialogue was informative and useful. The guests' visit to the Winter Garden of the University summed up E.V. Lukianov's four-day stay in Brest and Brest region.
