The BrSU delegation took part in the international exhibition-forum "Russia" in Moscow

The Days of Brest Region within the framework of the international exhibition-forum "Russia" started on 11 January at VDNKh in Moscow. The official opening ceremony was attended by Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Mikhail Vladimirovich Myasnikovich, Chairman of the Brest Regional Executive Committee Yuri Vitoldovich Shuleiko, State Secretary of the Union State of Russia and Belarus Dmitry Fedorovich Mezentsev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Russian Federation Dmitry Nikolaevich Krutoy, deputy governors of a number of Russian regions, representatives of the cultural and business elite of the two countries. The students of BrSU were lucky to visit the exhibition as well.

The exposition of the First Region presents modern scientific and technical developments and achievements in the spheres of economy, industry, agriculture, culture and tourism. There is also a national component - you can see household items and clothes at the exhibition.

The students of BrSU got acquainted with the exposition of the region, talked to representatives of Brest region authorities and took part in cultural and educational events.

The Days of Brest Region at the exhibition-forum "Russia" will be held until 29 January. The programme envisages not only presentations of the Brest region's potential in various spheres of activity, but also the organisation of negotiation platforms for business representatives of the Brest region and Russian regions in order to establish new direct business contacts. Then the First Region will pass the stage to Vitebsk region. Other Belarusian regions will present their expositions until 3 July this year.
