The delegation from Anhui University visited BrSU

On 24 April the Confucius Institute of BrSU was visited by a delegation of the partner university - Anhui University - headed by Vice-Rector Wang Shouguo. A concert programme was dedicated to this event. As part of this event, a round table was held, during which several issues on further development of partnership relations between the universities were discussed.

At the beginning of the event, university vice-rectors Petr Egorovich Rezkin and Wang Shouguo greeted each other. Both leaders underlined the importance of the Confucius Institute as a unique platform for strengthening Belarusian-Chinese ties in scientific and educational activities, as well as a platform for the development of cultural dialogue.

The vocal studio "Zolak" (director Julia Rakhta) participated in the concert programme. Chinese vocal, choreographic and instrumental compositions were performed by students of Chinese language courses Alexandra Korobeiko, Ksenia Chopko, Anna Stelmashuk, Julia Kornelyuk, as well as Chinese language teachers of the Confucius Institute.

At the end of the concert programme, everyone had the opportunity to ask questions to the Chinese guests. The most active were the first-year students of the speciality "Modern Foreign Language (English, Chinese)".
