The Festival of foreign students started in BrSU

On 19 February start was given to the VIII Festival of foreign students of our University. Vice-rector for educational work T. V. Sokolova made a welcoming speech at the opening. Tatyana Vasilyevna pointed out the importance of the festival, expressed her confidence that year after year it will become better and better and collect more participants and spectators. She also wished everyone successful and fruitful work at various festival venues. There are a lot of them: exhibitions and fairs, intellectual games, culinary competitions, brain-rings and different quizzes – and this is an incomplete list of numerous events that will be held till February 28.

Afterwards, a concert program was held. During the concert the audience was pleased with the performances not only by foreign students but also Belorussian students. There is no surprise, because one of the goals of this festival is to unite young people from different countries. And creative activity is the very force that unites and brings together.
