The final lesson for the students of the course "Russian as a foreign language"

On July 1, a final lesson was held for the students of the course "Russian as a foreign language", organized by the Department of Implementation of Pre-University Preparation Programs at the Institute for Pre-University Studies and Professional Development. The first group of young people from Sri Lanka studied Russian for five months under the guidance of lecturers G.V. Pisaruk, T.M. Lyantsevich and N.V. Sas. Besides classes the students were offered a tour of the city and a visit to Belovezhskaya Pushcha, the Pinsk College, the Gorky Library and the Museum of the City History. The meeting with the students of the 4th year of the Philological Faculty of the specialty "Russian Philology" was very interesting.

During the final lesson, boys and girls in different forms showed their ability to read, write, speak in Russian, the ability to listen and understand the Russian language. There were dialogues in the classroom: T.M. Lyantsevich helped Vakshalan Utayakumar tell about himself, the Gorky library worker Y.V. Rischuk talked with Janartan Patmanathan and Anuraj Gopalaratnasingam about the impressions of visiting the library, Sivapriya Prabakar and Sangitan Kubenthirarasa acted out a daily dialogue in the street. Abirna Suntaralingam read a text about the life of students in the dormitory, Anuraj Gopalaratnasingam voiced a text about Belarus. Balapirasanth Balachandran told about the working day of a foreign student, Denukant Murugamoorthy told about the Russian language classes, and Denistan Pakiratan in his speech presented his impressions of the beloved city of Brest. The guests were also impressed when Balapirasanth Balachandran read Pushkin's poem "I loved you..."

At the end presenter Sivapriya Prabhakar thanked teachers G.V. Pisaruk, T.M. Lantsevich and N.V. Sas for their hard work in teaching foreign students "difficult but beautiful Russian language", and the head of the department of pre-university training programs implementation S.I. Nikitina for good organization of studies and wished the university "to have a lot of foreign students from different countries".

Students in the first group of courses are thinking about continuing their studies at our university at different faculties.
