Foreign Students’ Fest: Brain-Ring “University I Study at”

On February 28, 2013, the brain-ring “University I study at”, organized by the Department of General and Russian Philology, was held within the framework of the traditional Foreign Students’ Festival. Four teams participated in the game, including representatives of the Faculties of Philology, Physics and Mathematics, Geography, Biology and the Faculty of Foreign Languages (the Faculties of Geography and Biology made up one team).

Being extremely tense, the game aroused great interest on part of both participants and audience. The participants answered questions on the history of the University, its veteran professors and famous alumni, as well as on meaning of such significant for students words as examination period, faculty, exam, etc.

Following the results of the brain-ring game the team of the Faculty of Philology “Comet” took the lead, however the other teams were close behind. The winners were awarded the prize in the form of the trip to Nesvizh and Mir which they are looking forward to now.
