Happy Birthday, University!

On November 1, 2012 the traditional gala concert “Vivat Academia” dedicated to the University Day took place in the Center of Youth Creative Work.

It was a momentous day for N.P.Semenchuk, Associate Professor of the Department of higher mathematics, the Candidate of physical and mathematical sciences, V.F.Satinova, Professor of the Department of the English language with methods of teaching, and O.N.Veremchuk, the initiator of creation of the Inter-faculty center for ecology and natural history.  The Rector of the University Mechyslau E. Chasnouski presented them with honourable badges “For the Service to the University”.

One more significant and unforgettable event was a promotion ceremony of professor Yakov V. Radyno, Head of the department of functional analysis of Belarusian State University (BSU), the corresponding member of the Academy of sciences of the Republic of Belarus, to the rank of Honourable Professor.

The tradition of annual honouring of the lecturers having achieved some success in research and academic work as well as young scientists – Candidates of sciences, PhD students, holders of grants of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus was carried on.

The words of gratitude were addressed not only to the scholarship holders, but also to their parents. The students also received some presents. 

Impressive performances, presents and brilliant impromptu altogether created amiable and festive atmosphere in the concert hall.
