“Students’ Spring 2013”: Closing Ceremony of the Festival
On April 10, 2013, the Closing Ceremony of the Festival of students’ arts “Students’ Spring 2013” was held in the Youth Center. The concert programme consisting of performances of various artistic groups and students of the University was quite diverse and eventful.
The folk chamber choir “Gaudeamus” performed on the stage a lyric serenade and a lively Portuguese song; Sergey Polyachuk and Alesya Gapanovich also shared their spring ardour, as well as Andrey Semenyuk, Irina Kulbeda, dance school “One way”, winner of the contest “Kvinta 2013” Irina zamulko, Ekaterina Punko, men’s vocal group “Mroya”, Yana Butskevich and accordion trio “Vostorg” who presented their musical presents. The guests of the event – the fashion theatre “Divertissement” from D.M. Karbyshev Professional Lyceum of Clothing Manufacture (headed by Viktor Shumskiy) – entertained all the present with the demonstration of 2 of their collections.
For 2 weeks our students and lecturers who at that time turned into singers, musicians, photographers, experts and humorists shared with us their warmth and cheerful mood. During the gala concert the best performers were awarded with certificates and valuable prizes. The young people who managed to organize and hold a number of events within the framework of the Festival were also favoured with attention, they were: Ekaterina Basalay, Denis Trotsyuk, Yana Butskevich, Sergey Polyachuk and some others. The audience was given another opportunity to witness the liveliest and most striking numbers of the Festival.
We hope that students’ art is not framed with the Festival only and that creative students will find any day suitable for implementation of their most interesting and creative ideas. Dare, create – and you will succeed!
