The success of the BrSU team in aerobics cups

On December 6-8, 2019 Minsk hosted the Open Cup of the Republic of Belarus in aerobics sports and International Tournament XI Aerostep Cup. The team of our university took part in the competition. The team consisted of:

1. Varvara Grishko, the 2nd year student (Department of Physical Education, part-time education);
2. Lubov Labun, the 1st year student (Department of Physical Education);
3. Anna Burskaya, the 2nd year student (Department of Physical Education);
4. Boris Samkevich, the 2nd year student (Department of Physical Education);
5. Kirill Afuksenidis, the 2nd year student (Department of Physical Education);
6. Andrey Manyukevich, the 3rd year student (Department of Physics and Mathematics);
7. Anastasia Shchurko, the 3rd year student (Department of Physical Education);
8. Angelina Krukovich, the 3rd year student (Department of Physical Education);
9. Marina Samkevich, the 4th year student ( Department of Physical Education).

According to the results of the performances at the Open Cup of the Republic of Belarus in aerobics sports, our students won the following places:

• Andrey Manyukevich – the 1st place in the individual men's programme in the category “Solo”;
• Kirill Afuksenidis – the 3rd place in the individual men's program in the category “Solo”;
• Marina Samkevich and Boris Samkevich – the 1st place in the category “Mixed Couples”;
• Varvara Grishko, Anna Burskaya, Anastasia Shchurko, Angelina Krukovich, Marina Samkevich – the 3rd place in the category “Group”.

In addition, Andrey Manyukevich won the 2nd place in the International Tournament XI Aerostep Cup in the individual men's program in the category “Solo”, and Marina Samkevich and Boris Samkevich won the 2nd place in the category “Mixed Couples”.

The team coach is Lyudmila Titova, senior teacher of the Department of sports disciplines and methods of their teaching.
