We did a great job: the university summed up the results of the third working semester

Students of Brest State A.S. Pushkin University continued the good tradition of spending summer vacations for the benefit of themselves, the city and the country, when they decided to work at significant sites and help the university. Summing up the results of the third working semester this year took place on September 28 in the conference hall of the University.

Student teams members think it's a holiday when they all gather in their university walls in autumn. This year it was joined by the administration of BrSU, deans of faculties, other students and invited guests.

She expressed her gratitude to all the guys and girls for their significant contribution to the improvement of the city and the country and the education of the younger generation in children's health camps. A separate “thank you” was addressed to the construction, service and volunteer units that worked for the benefit of alma mater – distributed people during centralized testing and checking documents with applicants, as well as repaired the dormitories. After that Anna Sender awarded certificates of gratitude from the Rector of the University to the best commanders and commissioners of student teams and diplomas of the Labor Headquarters of Brest State A.S. Pushkin University to the best construction, service, pedagogical and volunteer teams.

Students were supported in their enthusiasm by the regional and city committees of BRSM. The second secretary of Brest regional committee BRSM Maxim Kharitonik in his speech noted that BrSU is a forge of student teams, which keeps at the same time the existing teams. He also expressed confidence that the university has a great future in this direction.

The first secretary of Brest City Committee BRSM Alexander Zorin awarded certificates of gratitude from the City Labor Headquarters to the Rector Anna Sender, Vice-Rector for Educational Work Tatiana Sokolova and Head of the Labor Headquarters of the University Ivan Derkach.

Awarding ceremony was continued by the Vice-Rector for Educational Work Tatyana Sokolova and Head of the Department of Educational Work with Youth Tatyana Koshik, from whom the commanders, commissioners and student teams members received awards from the University Labor Headquarters.

During the event spoke the commander of the pedagogical team “New Generation named after the hero P.M. Gavrilov” Karina Bazan, who worked four shifts in the health camp “Eaglet”. The girl said she got invaluable experience of communication with children of different ages, became more mobile, learned to act on the situation and accept criticism.

The awards received by the students once again prove that it is great and honorable to be a member of student team. Student teams form character, help to develop leadership qualities and gain new skills.
