Yana Ryzhikova – Miss Spring 2013

First April days brought students not only really warm weather, but also triumph of beauty and grace. The beauty contest “Miss Spring 2013” held at the Faculty of Foreign Languages on April 8 was full of positive emotions and unforgettable impressions.

Six contestants – Yana Ryzhikova, Elena Matyuhevich, Aleksandra Surkova, Anastasiya Berdovich, Elizaveta Evstratova and Tamara Karpuk – competed in a creative and intellectual contest for the title “Miss Spring 2013”. And the girls did manage to surprise the audience. Yana Ryzhikova surprised everybody both with an unusual image of a contemporary housewife and lively dancing. Aleksandra Surkova won the hearts of the audience and jury by playing the guitar. Anastasiya Berdovich’s touching presentation and sincere words about beauty, both external and internal, made everybody ponder over the beautiful, while Elena Matyuhevich, Elizaveta Evstratova and Tamara Karpuk demonstrated on the stage their vocal talents.

Struggle for the title of the most beautiful young lady of the Faculty of Foreign Languages turned out to be hard. Nevertheless, the loyal but at the same time fair jury (made up of Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages Sergey N. Severin, lecturers Dmitriy I. Retivyh and Mikhail V. Romanyuk, as well as laboratory assistant Lyudmila I. Grebchuk) decided whose beauty in every single nomination would save the world.

Thus, Elena Matyuhevich got the title “Miss Audience Choice” (and “Miss Charm”). Elizaveta Evstratova won the title “Miss Grace”, while Tamara Karpuk was announced “Miss Congeniality”. Anastasiya Berdovich got the title “Miss Creativity”. Aleksandra Surkova was a step away from the victory – she became “Vice Miss Spring 2013”. And finally, Yana Ryzhikova got the beauty crown and became “Miss Spring 2013”.
