Friendhsip which is verified by time

From the 29^th of September to 04^th of October, 2013 Foreign languages Department of the Brest State A.S. Pushkin University received an official delegation of High pedagogical gymnasium of the city of Kroitslingen (Switzerland). The delegation consisted of the Rector Tsubler Lorentz, project coordinators Eglin Erkhard together with Eglin Elizabeth as well as an English teacher Tsing Josephina. The meeting was held within an Agreement on Collaboration between BrSU and High pedagogical gymnasium of the city of Kroitslingen.

The delegation from Kroitslingen visits Brest annually in order to provide the students of the Department of Foreign languages with the opportunity to participate in the programme of the «included» study. It means that two students study and undertake pre-graduation practice in Switzerland during one semester. There were 13 applications from the students wishing to take part in the competition. 8 students were invited for an interview. Educational scholarship was granted to Krishtopik Inna and Bubnova Oksana, students of the 4^th year of the Foreign languages Department. Commission paid attention to the level of the command of German and English languages, to the professional competence of the contestants, their communicative skills and motivation.

This programme is not the only opportunity for Foreign languages Department students to master their linguistic skills, to get acquainted with new methods in DaF system of teaching. «Friendship which is verified by time» is the very expression that can characterize partnership relation of the Department with the High pedagogical school of the city of Vaingarten (Germany) as well as with Goethe Institute and German service of academic exchange.
