Interuniversity training-methodical webinar "Interactive Learning: Pros and Cons"

On December 22, 2016 Foreign Languages Department took part in the interuniversity training-methodical webinar "Interactive Learning: Pros and Cons", organized by the Foreign Languages Department of the Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after Maxim Tank.

On behalf of Brest State A.S. Pushkin University A.A. Luksha and K.V. Spesivtseva, the academic teachers of the Foreign Languages Department and the Master’s Degree students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, as well as A.P. Ilyukevich, the Master’s Degree student of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, delivered their reports. The speakers analyzed the essence of interactive learning, presented different approaches to the classification of its methods, explored the technology of conducting the interactive classes and talked about how to overcome the difficulties in the use of interactive teaching methods and turn their weaknesses into the strengths. The representatives of BrSU demonstrated a deep knowledge in the stated topics and aroused the interest of the audience, which led to the lively debate during the discussion of their reports.

In conclusion, the results of the webinar work were summed up. All the participants noted that the webinar was relevant, informative, practice-oriented, and was carried out in the atmosphere of mutual understanding.
