Our strong suit – is friendship

«Our strong suit is friendship» – these words became the motto of the VIII Festival of foreign students, which was held at our University on 19–28 February. Traditionally, the most striking event of the festival was a gala concert at the Centre of Youth Creativity.

The rector of the University A.N. Sender made a welcoming speech. Anna Nikolaevna thanked the organizers for organizing the event and expressed her confidence that year after year it will become better and better and collect more participants and spectators.

Presentation, which reflected the most remarkable moments of the festival, proved that the week of the festival was full of emotions.

The most excited and pleasant stage of the celebration was awarding ceremony of the winners of numerous Olympiads and competitions, and giving recognition letters to the most active participants of the festival.

Afterwards the concert program took place: students from nine countries impressed the audience with skills in dancing and singing, showed their ability of poem declamations. the audience were over the moon with KVN performances and catwalks in handmade dresses. the key feature of the concert was a light show during the closing ceremony. the festival ended with balloon show.

The festival of foreign students is like a breath of fresh air for our University. Memories of this event will undoubtedly remain forever in the hearts of its participants.
