XIII Plenum of the regional organization BRSM

On January 23, in the hall of meetings of the Administration of Leninsky district in Brest the XIII final plenum of the Brest regional organization BRSM took place. The event was attended by Deputy Chairman of Brest Regional Executive Committee Hennadi Borisyuk, Second Secretary of the Central Committee of BRSM Oleg Dikun, Head of the main department of ideological work and youth affairs of the Regional Executive Committee Tatiana Gagakova, Chairman of the regional organization of the Belarusian Public Association of Veterans Valery Gubarenko.

As part of the plenum, the results of the youth organization for 2019 were summed up. The best youth leaders were awarded with letters of commendation from the youth union and the main department of ideological work and youth affairs of Brest Regional Executive Committee.

The prospects of the organization's development for 2020 were also described. One of the priority directions will remain youth employment in their free time from study and work, implementation of projects dedicated to the 75^th anniversary of the Great Victory and the 100^th anniversary of LKSMB, participation in the national youth project #Razam, in the election campaign.

Brest Regional Committee of the Public Association BRSM thanks all partner organizations and structures for cooperation, in 2020 joint projects will continue. Young people also plan to develop international cooperation and pay special attention to work in social networks.

It is also pleasant to note that at the regional plenum Vice-Rector for Educational Work of Brest State A. S. Pushkin University Tatiana Sokolova was awarded an honorary diploma of the main department of ideological work and youth affairs of Brest Regional Executive Committee for her personal contribution to the implementation of state youth policy.
