Brain-ring "Pages of university history..." (to the 75th anniversary of the Brest State A.S.Pushkin University)
On February 26, 2020 for the tenth time within the framework of the Festival of foreign students there was held a brain-ring between first-year students. Traditionally, the organizer of the contest was the Chair of General and Russian Linguistics. The topic of the meeting was “Pages of university history...”. It was dedicated to the 75th anniversary of our alma mater. On slide pages of the “history” of the Brest State A. S. Pushkin University were presented not only questions about where the history of our university began, how the formation of its educational base was, what the students of past years lived, who led the university to today's success, when the Brest State A. S. Pushkin University opened its doors to foreign students and much more, but also detailed additions to the answers of the participants of the brain-ring. As a result, the meeting of first-year students was both competitive and cognitive in nature.
In search of the right answers competed team “Success” of the Department of Physics and Mathematics, team “Friendship” of the Department of Biology and team “Geographers”, whose name speaks for itself. Victory in the brain-ring was won by the team of the Department of Biology, which worthily presented Uteshov Isa, Yagmyrov Amangeldi, Mollaev Hemra, Khalbaev Ovez, Khudyeva Gulalek, Khodjamyradov Ykhlas headed by Captain Mukhabbat Shohratova.
