Foreign Students’ Fest: Interuniversity Academic Competition on the Russian Language for Foreign Students

On February 26, 2013, the Interuniversity Academic Competition on the Russian Language for Foreign Students was held within the framework of the Foreign Students’ Festival at the Faculty of Philology. The contest was organized by the Department of General and Russian Philology with technical support provided by the Faculty of Pre-University Education. The jury consisted of lecturers from Brest State A.S. Pushkin University and Brest State Technical University.

38 foreign students from 2 Brest Universities took part in the competition. According to the results of 4 sections 12 winners were declared:

Section 1 (Faculty of Pre-University Education)

1. Allaberdi Ybrayymov;
2. Temurbek Eshmetov;
3. Orazgeldi Gurbanov.

Section 2 (1^st and 2^nd year students)

1. Soltan Ovelekova (Faculty of Physics and Mathematics);
2. KheyransaMansurova (Faculty of Geography);
3. Aziza Aknazarova (Faculty of Physics and Mathematics).

Section 3 (3^rd and 4^th year students, Turkmen)

1. Oguljeren Tirkishova (Faculty of Foreign Languages);
2. Annagul Hanmamedova (Brest State Technical University);
3. Aybolek Numadova (Brest State Technical University).

Section 4 (3^rd and 5^th year students, Chinese)

1. Ni Xiang (Faculty of Philology);
2. Wu Xing (Faculty of Philology);
3. Jing Song (Faculty of Philology).
