Short biography

In 1998 he graduated from Polotsk State University, a graduate of the Faculty of Radio Engineering. In the same year he started working at the Department of Physics as an engineer and entered the postgraduate programme in "Vacuum and plasma electronics". In 2003 he defended his PhD thesis on "Plasma electron sources with large cross-section beams for electron beam technologies" in the speciality "Electrophysics, electrophysical installations".

He was a lecturer and researcher at the Department of Physics of the Euphrosyne Polotskaya State University of Polotsk. From 2000 to 2003 - an assistant, from 2003 to 2006 - a senior lecturer, from 2006 - an associate professor of the Department of Physics. From 2004 to 2006 he was the deputy executive secretary, executive secretary of the university Admission Office. From 01.09.2007 Y.P. Golubev worked as Head of the Educational and Methodological Department; from 01.10.2017 - Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Euphrosyne Polotskaya State University of Polotsk.

He was awarded the Diploma and the Honorary Diploma of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, the Diploma of the Polotsk State University, the Diploma of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, the Badge of the Ministry of Education "Excellent Educator".

In accordance with the Order of the Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus No. 133-k dated 28.07.2023, he was appointed Rector of the educational establishment "Brest State A.S.Pushkin University".

Scientific interests

• Energy-efficient electron- and ion-beam technologies based on plasma emitter sources.
